But enough about that boring stuff. I've purchased a few new pairs of shoes these last few weeks and I am SO excited to share them with you.
The first pair were actually purchased a few months ago from Aldo. I had been looking for basic black ankle booties for well over a year and found them at Aldo in the early Fall. If memory serves me correctly, I paid roughly $120 for these. I rarely pay retail price for shoes - but felt that I had to have these for the Fall/Winter season.
The heel height is perfect. The leather is soft - so there was no real need to break these babies in. I really REALLY love these boots. I loved them so much that I purchased them in suede as well! Because I was a patient shopper, I got this pair for only $40!
I bought the next two pairs of boots at a steal too - the grey pair are leather and only cost $50 (regular $160) and the cognac pair are synthetic for only $35. Both pairs are from Aldo. I JUST ordered these today and should have them by next week!
These next 3 pairs of shoes are just basic nude shoes I've been waiting to get. The first pair are simply Steve Madden patent nude flats. I got these for $20 at Ross and thought they'd be perfect to wear with my colorful skinny jeans. My only wish for these shoes were that they were more comfy - the material doesn't soften up at all.
I got these Michael Kors nude patent leather peep toe shoes from TJ Maxx. They were $40 and decently comfortable. I've been on the hunt for nude platform heels for YEARS and hope that these will fit the bill.
This last pair of shoes were honestly just purchased so I could get free shipping from Aldo. There's nothing too exciting about them - but I figured that I needed a new pair of basic nude wedge sandals - since I wore out my last pair of beige wedges last summer.
So - that wraps up my new shoe purchase post! Have you purchased any new shoes lately?
